Duration: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $65-78/hr.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in
the U.S.
Effort: Core banking transformation for new online banking
platforms (payment hub). Seeking a Project Manager who has a strong
understanding of deposit-related core processing (remote deposit
capture, check deposits, wire, ACH, payments, online banking for
Commercial clients) and banking systems. This PM will lead critical
projects related to core banking platform upgrades.
Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to drive
initiatives that innovate, enhance operational efficiencies, and
support the bank's long-term growth. As a key member of the banking
Product Management team, this role demands extensive expertise in
banking and financial services, with a proven ability to manage
complex projects effectively while adapting to evolving business
needs.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate project management,
exceptional communication skills, and a strategic approach to
relationship management, ensuring seamless collaboration across

Responsibilities: Lead small to large-sized core banking systems
projects. (Techno-Functional)
Ensure consistent and quality planning, design, development, and
implementation of projects
Responsible for working and communicating with all levels of
business and technology team members, including third-party vendors
and other external parties, to plan and execute projects.
Accurately prepare all required project documentation (e.g.,
Project Charter, Business Requirements Document, Process Diagrams,
etc.), including eliciting content, feedback, and approvals from
the project Subject Matter Experts (SME) and stakeholders.
Work closely with internal and external business and technical
teams to facilitate the development of solutions that meet the
project needs.
Maintain project plans and ensure deliverables are completed on
time and documented accurately and appropriately.
Organize information and input from disparate sources into
meaningful, actionable data.
Prepare required project-related reports, dashboards, and other
metrics.
Develop project budgets. Track project expenses against forecast,
including reconciliation of variances.
Build and lead the project team by providing purpose, direction,
and motivation.
Review third-party vendor agreements and other documentation
required for a project.
Develop and maintain internal and external working relationships,
including third-party vendors.
Comply with policies, standards, procedures, and documentation
requirements.
Other duties, as assigned.
Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or
related field.
Project management certification is a plus.
Skills/Qualifications: Solid banking or financial services
experience required.
Experience with core banking transformation projects will be a
plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience working on banking and/or
financial services delivery projects.
Minimum of 5 years of Enterprise project management experience in
the banking industry.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
Experience with delivering projects using Waterfall, Agile, and
hybrid methodologies.
Experience facilitating teams to deliver solutions on time, on
budget, and to spec.
Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial banking platforms
will be a plus.
Proactive, results-oriented, and with attention to detail.
Possess skills to analyze a situation and make decisions or
recommendations based on the data.
Experienced with developing and delivering presentations to all
levels, including CxOs.
Quick learner. Possess a mindset to learn and adopt newer
technologies in the field.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal
skills.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external business and
technical partners.
