Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12
setting within the Baltimore, MD area. This contract role supports
multiple school locations, including preschool community sites,
elementary, and middle schools, offering full-time and part-time
assignments during the current school year with potential extension
into summer services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individual and
group speech-language therapy to students from preschool age
through middle school (grades PreK8). Conduct evaluations, develop
treatment plans, and document progress. Provide supervision and
support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-A),
particularly at the secondary level. Travel between assigned sites,
including itinerant preschool settings and specific elementary and
middle schools. Comply with all state licensure requirements and
participate in district-mandated background checks and
credentialing. Collaborate with educators, families, and
multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Qualifications:
Current, active Maryland Professional Speech-Language Pathologist
(CCC) licensure. Experience working within school settings
preferred, including preschool, elementary, and secondary levels.
Ability to supervise SLP assistants effectively. Strong
communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work
assigned schedules, including full-time (37.5 hours/week,
Monday-Friday) or part-time (30 hours/week, Monday-Thursday or
Monday-Friday). Completed background checks and employment history
reviews as per House Bill 486. Locations & Scheduling: Community
Preschool locations (itinerant) for preschool-aged children, 5
days/week. Magnolia Elementary (3 days/week) and Prospect Mill
Elementary (2 days/week) supporting PreK5th grade. Aberdeen Middle
School (45 days/week) supporting 6th8th grade with supervision
responsibilities. Benefits include professional development support
