Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Bioinformatics Software
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain reliable software solutions for bioinformatics
pipelines
Develop and refine data models to ensure computational algorithm
performance and integrity
Design and enhance ETL processes for efficient data extraction,
transformation, and loading
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Bioinformatics, or related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum of 5 years in software development with experience in
scalable software solutions
Proficient in at least two programming languages (Python, Perl, R,
or Bash preferred)
Strong background in database systems such as SQL Server, NoSQL, or
MySQL
Agile development experience with Git and CI/CD implementation
