Salary: $30 - $40 per hour A bit about us: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Tooling Operator/Grinder to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machines, grinding tools, and other materials according to specifications. Your keen eye for detail, precision, and adherence to safety procedures will be crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality products. Job Details Responsibilities: 1. Operate and maintain grinding machines to meet production requirements. 2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand the specifications of the parts to be grinded. 3. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications. 4. Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances. 5. Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications. 6. Monitor machine operations to detect any problems or deviations from specifications. 7. Operate CNC cutter and other machines to produce or repair tools. 8. Use Brown and Sharpe, Davenport, and other specialized equipment to perform tasks. 9. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols. 10. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure the efficiency and quality of operations. Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. A technical certificate or associate degree in a related field is a plus. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a tooling operator/grinder, machine operator, or similar role in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in operating grinding machines, CNC grinding, CNC cutter, Brown and Sharpe, Davenport, and other specialized equipment. 4. Experience in tool and cutter grinding, cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, and other related skills. 5. Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and manuals. 6. Excellent attention to detail and precision. 7. Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude. 8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. 9.
