Description This is an onsite role at our location in Apple
Valley, CA. Relocation assistance is available. The Manager of
Clinical Engineering is responsible for the day-to-day management
of the hospital medical equipment service. Participates and directs
preventative maintenance, equipment repair programs and special
projects and strategic planning for the medical equipment. Customer
Focus Personally, demonstrates that external (or internal)
customers are a high priority. Identifies customer needs and
expectations and responds to them in a timely and effective manner.
Anticipates and prevents delays or other things that can adversely
affect the customer. Keeps customers informed about the status of
pending actions and inquiries about customer satisfaction with
products or services. Relationship Building / Networking Builds
rapport and develops alliances with a broad range of people.
Adjusts communication style to meet the needs of individuals at
various organizational levels and to meet the needs of clients.
Creates alliances by demonstrating concern and respect for others,
as well as by highlighting common interests and aspirations. Leave
others feeling that he/she will be a trusted ally and is careful to
act in ways that reinforce that trust over time. This is in
contrast with the behavior of individuals Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities Must have working knowledge of all elements of clinical

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or applicable military training or,
- Associate's Degree - Biomedical Equipment Technology or
Electronics Technology or applicable military training.
- 6 years - Bachelor's degree/equiv military training: Experience
as a Biomedical Technician. Three of the 6 years must have been in
leadership/supv/management role.
- 8 years - Associate's degree/equiv military training:
Experience as a Biomedical Technician. Three of the 8 years must
have been in leadership/supv/management or team leader role.
