Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid CA license must be in hand Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting - Commitment to working 3 of the 5 major holidays Job Description: - The Local Radius is 50 miles; please reach out for the local rate for applicants within this area. - ICU RN position with start needed ASAP. - Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2. - Will this traveler need to float between like-units? Yes, and refusal may result in termination of assignment. - On-call not required. - Weekends are required, based on staffing needs. - Not open to accommodating block schedule. - First-timers are not accepted for this position. - All requested time off must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on the facility's needs. - Hospital type: Acute Care Hospital with a total of 212 staffed beds. - Uniform: Navy Blue for RNs. - Charting system used: Epic. - COVID-19 Vaccine is not required; flu vaccine status unknown. - Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the given state. - Communication devices needed for assignment will be supplied, or compensation will be provided for work-related phone use. - Non-billable modules require an average of 16 hours to complete, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts. Modules are completed pre-start and annually. - Orientation consists of 40 hours which are non-billable.
