Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/02/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and current California licensure for an acute care hospital assignment. Responsibilities - Work in a CT department within an acute care hospital - Shift times include day (6:00-18:30) and night (17:00-5:30), with start times at 6:00, 8:00, 15:00, or 17:00 - Self-scheduling is based on seniority and all shift times must be accepted - Patient assignments are 1:1 - No floating required between units, but may be expected to float between facilities within the state - Charting is done using Epic EMR; proficiency required - No on-call required - Block scheduling is subject to unit needs - Locals are accepted at the same rate with a local radius rule of 50 miles - Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) - All required time off must be requested at the time of application - Former staff may return as travelers after 3 months and cannot submit if residing within 50 miles - Scrub color for RNs is navy blue; other areas may have scrubs provided - Free parking is available - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Completion of pre-start and annual modules required, averaging 16 hours Requirements - Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist - Current BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications required - California state license must be held at the time of consideration; no temporary licenses accepted - Experience with Epic EMR required - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628758.
