Medical Assistant Location: Santa Monica, CA Agency: Acruex
Health Pay: $800 to $960 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days
x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/Hourly. Summary: The Medical
Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to
healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and
high-quality care. This role is responsible for assisting with
patient intake, clinical procedures, documentation, and
front-office tasks while maintaining patient safety,
confidentiality, and professionalism. Locals not accepted
Responsibilities: Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs,
review current meds and record in medical record. Assist with
tracking and monitoring department specific data. Explain policies,
procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice. Set
up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs.
Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department
guidelines. Requirements Required Requirements: High School
Diploma, GED or equivalent, Flu vaccinated (no exemptions/no
declinations), Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for
examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood
pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history
summaries, Experience with CS-Link/Epic, Medical Assistant
Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program, BLS
Certification, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Preferred
Requirements: Understanding of medical terminology, Phlebotomy
