Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery RN! /n/nJob Description: /n- Are you a seasoned traveler with a passion for Labor and Delivery? /n- We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic L&D unit, where your skills will shine! /n/nWhat You'll Do: /n- Provide exceptional care in Labor & Delivery settings /n- Manage high-risk antepartum patients with expertise /n- Utilize External Fetal Monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes /n- Administer medications, including antihypertensives and magnesium sulfate therapy /n- Assist in high-risk deliveries, including circulating for C-sections and supporting vaginal deliveries /n- Perform special procedures like cervical cerclage and D&C /n/nRequirements: /n- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - HARD STOP /n- Certifications: /n - BLS, ACLS, NRP /n - AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred /n- Ability to circulate and manage various delivery scenarios /n- Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred /n- Must be a seasoned traveler - NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS /n/nScheduling Details: /n- Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) /n- Weekend shifts may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs /n- Scheduling requests due to outside employment are not considered /n- Pre-approved time off: 1 request /n- Orientation Hours: 72 /n/nPatient Care: /n- Ratios: /n - Days: 1:1 or 2 /n - Nights: 1:1 or 2 /n - Weekends: 1:1 or 2 /n- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults /n- Support staff includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more /n/nSpecial Unit Details: /n- Very high-risk unit caring for a range of pregnancy diagnoses /n- Procedures include cesarean sections, D&C, and vaginal deliveries /n/nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): /nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
