Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter Stop-loss.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and underwrite stop-loss cases within company guidelines and
assigned authority
Collaborate with clinical underwriting staff to develop medical
underwriting expertise
Analyze and document risk selection and pricing decisions for
efficient reviews
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3+ years of progressive stop-loss underwriting
experience
Understanding of stop-loss market dynamics and risk management
strategies
Ability to manage high case volumes efficiently, especially during
peak periods
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
