Optimization Practice. Transition to a key advisor to TCG's best
clients as you participate in payment assessments, develop
strategic solutions, optimize or implement credit card programs,
and partner in outsourced card management programs Successful
individuals use their business acumen and product expertise to
assess strategies, identify opportunities/solutions to develop
roadmaps, obtain knowledge of policy structure/strategic
imperatives to implement new card programs, and partner in card
management You will have d emonstrated experience in defining
systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements,
leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, functional
configuration, testing, client user training for credit card
implementations. Senior Consultant, Payment and Spend Optimization
primary responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients & other departments to craft domestic
or global functional design requirements and translate these into
application solutions
- Perform financial analysis to optimize program efficiencies
including pricing, rebates, compliance, delinquency, business
impact, or ROI
- Drive external vendor/partners to execute on domestic or global
solutions
- Translate and communicate client technical product needs to
internal and external partners
- Analyze and resolve non-routine and/or moderately complex
operational problems often requiring research and involvement from
other business functional experts.
- Advise clients on best practices and industry standards.
Ability to "sell" clients on best practice standards during design
phases
- Evaluate client business processes to determine ideal services
and/or support required
- Recognize business process inefficiencies and provide
recommendations for improvements
- Assist client with communication plans and training
materials
- Maintain quality standards and work processes
- Extend knowledge and insights of current industry trends and
innovations and incorporate this knowledge in services
- Join Sales Associates in discussions with prospects or clients
to validate the business needs, architect the solution set and
present the offering
- Conduct and validate process and needs assessments to perform
tailored and effective product demonstrations either remotely or
on-site at a prospect's location
- Effectively supervise associates on assigned projects,
communicate priorities, and keep track of
deadlines/deliverables
- Assist with responses to requests for proposals (RFP's)
- Identify methods for reaching new clients and promoting TCG
services Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) required with emphasis on
financial analysis, economics, mathematics, business analysis or
similar field or equivalent work experience
- 2-5+ years of relevant work experience in payment processing,
accounts payable or consulting
- Project Management experience specifically on implementation
teams
- Proven track record of delivering results and practical project
management techniques
- Implementing invoice or corporate card programs within
different client environments. Specific experience in invoice
programs such as SAP Ariba and Concur Invoice
- Working knowledge of various payment vehicles (Corporate Cards,
P-Cards, T&E, CTA/BTA, Virtual Cards, Meeting Cards)
- Requires thorough operations knowledge of specific card
products, usually gained through operations experience including
General Ledger posting and card reconciliations
- 2 years' experience across several Card Provider systems, ERP
systems and/or Expense Management Systems
- Well organized, highly motivated, process driven and
results-oriented with the ability to balance priorities, work under
pressure and assume responsibility in a multi-tasking
environment
- Ability to work independently, capable of handling multiple
projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication
skills
- Effective and efficient skills using Microsoft Office tools
especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficiency and experience reviewing, analyzing, and
reconciling data with a strong attention to detail
- Corporate travel industry experience is a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred
